Beannacht (Farewell)

Many thanks to the Yale community for the fun and fierce two months I spent in New Haven.  Production photos are up on the Translations project page, with a preview below, and here’s a nice student review in the Yale Herald.

Opening Night!

I could not be more excited to share this gorgeous production of TRANSLATIONS!  I truly hope you’ll be able to join me for this one.

Here’s a little preview article from the Yale Daily News.

Dance, dance, dance.

Rehearsals for Translations are in full swing.  Literally.  We’re working on integrating the Rapper Sword and Kerry Set dances we’ve been learning into the play, and smoothing out the wrinkles before we head into tech this week.

I also completed an exciting week of teaching Richard III at high schools across Queens, the Bronx and Manhattan this week.  I’m excited to see how the students react to the production.  We talked a lot about prophesy; what is the quickest student access point to the idea of prophesy?  Harry Potter.

Enjoy the Translations rehearsal photo below and check out the details on the Yale Arts Calendar!
