Lauren takes a personal and individualized approach to teaching yoga, influenced by her own experience as a practitioner of Bryan Kest style Power Vinyasa Flow yoga. The basis of her teaching philosophy is that yoga has the ability to benefit all people, regardless of their physical limitations; if you can breath, you can benefit from yoga. The base of her classes is a focus on breath, while leading students through a series of connected asanas. The sequence and intensity of the class vary in accordance with students’ experience, energy and prowess. Her group classes are accessible to beginners, while also challenging for intermediate students – with individual attention paid to each student. Her individual sessions are tailored to the needs of the student, helping you to find a kind of growth and stretch that only individualized attention can provide.

Lauren received her certification at Yoga to the People in the New York City. She has taught at Yoga to the People, NYC, University of New Mexico, NM and Christmas Country Dance School, KY. She has also taught private lessons through out the five boroughs and around the country. If you wish to book a session for yourself, a group of friends, your co-workers, your acting company, or anyone in your life that would benefit from taking a few deep breaths, please contact Lauren directly for rates and availability.
