Lauren is spending March working for BAM, teaching curriculum she developed in conjunction with Richard III, as well as mentoring directing undergraduate candidates at NYU.
In April, Lauren heads to Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, OR. There she will direct her own adaptation of Comedie of Errors, as well as assist Joe Haj on Henry V.
When Lauren returns to New York in July, she will jump into teaching Shakespeare for The Public Theater, traveling again to prisons and marginalized communities through the five boroughs.
Lauren continues to develop The Harmonious Pimps of Harmony’s Last Show in anticipation of a late summer 2012 workshop.
