George ends this play with line I hold my breaking heart next to yours. We are living through a period of profound heartbreak. For our planet and for ourselves. For the errosion of our beaches and our empathy, for the destruction of our forests and our shared humanity, for the posioning and colonizing of our aquifers and our minds. We are our home, our home is us. What is happening to the place that we all live and what is happening in our society is deeply intertwined. The heartbreak of what is happening is inescapable, however differently it may manifest individually.

So then, what is the antidote? How can we find hope? How can we envision and move towards healing? 

Only through standing with each other. Only through being together in our heartbreak.
